I have to say I'm really confused by the message on this piece. As a message for a diease that often takes women's breasts, to say "These breasts make[s] me a proud human being" seems like counter to the message that women are still WOMEN after the loss of a breast (or both). :/ It's like a message about everything a woman "loses" when she goes through this horror. Perhaps some intention was lost in translation?

Artistically, I'm not a fan of the composition being so squished into the right side. You've got some great movement and balancing color going on in the left, but all the important stuff shoved to the side. I'd love to see a little more balance and unity going on between the two. I'm usually into graphic, simplified pieces, but something about the second breast being a copy of the first throws me off. It's too flat somehow? Like a paper cut-out, but then you attempted shadow and warped the text as if they aren't flat. Hmm. I do like the text, though. The concept is solid, even if I'm confused by the message. I also like the black box framing effect at the top and bottom. A lot of artists don't think about "framing" an image, but it can really make a piece pop.
